Postdoctoral Research Associate

Kristina Radivojevic Topalovic completed her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Notre Dame. Her work bridges generative AI engineering with practical operational and ethical frameworks, specializing in the personification, behavioral design, and alignment of Large Language Models (LLMs). She focuses on building reliable, human-centered agentic systems and synthetic personas using state-of-the-art intelligent agent frameworks. Driven by the goal of navigating real-world challenges, she designs scalable technologies engineered to perform dependably under complex, practical conditions. Beyond her core focus on generative AI, her broader computer science background spans critical areas of digital trust, privacy, and security metrics. She has conducted technical evaluations of user data protections. Additionally, her work explores mechanisms for securing digital environments, including utilizing blockchain technologies to establish trust and authenticity in digital media, as well as examining data collection methods and text classification frameworks to address online safety risks.
